SCRUM: An Agile Software project management methodology that I have been hearing about more often lately. It sounds like a great way of having better turn arounds for project management and software development. I have met with few people at local SeaSPIN events recently; more and more people are so excited about this methodology. Well, although people do share about the pros and cons for using SCRUM, hey, every methodology has pros and cons anyway – but realized or heard that SCRUM provides better turn around, better team building, better development opportunity.
I was just going through some resources to learn more about SCRUM. I found Code Project site having brief and concise information. This article also has very good pointers for further reading about scrum and agile management. Wikipedia has some general information about SCRUM[link1][link2][link3]
Some other resources I recently stumbled across
Agile Management – David Anderson - I had also attended a talk at seaSPIN event couple of months ago
I also liked Brian Knight's article about this topic
So, If you have any resources to best practices implementing SCRUM methodology in your projects, I would appreciate if it can be shared. please leave a comment here with those additional resources.
Talking about SeaSPIN, there was a talk yesterday in Seattle area. I missed it somehow. Does anybody have any notes or slide deck available?
