Often at the presentations, conferences, Temples, or some public places, we are not allowed to take any audio or video recording devices; so also the cameras. Apparently, it sounds funny today in so called high tech / mobile world, as we still get checked at the entrance for such devices. Interestingly, the cell phones and PDAs are ok. Wireless network, mobile telephony, mobile technologies, etc etc have been becoming more and more common. As our technology gets more and more advanced, there are cell phones / PDAs with greater and greater storage, better resolution cameras for still pictures and video recording, being able to communicate to the world on IMs via cellphones – Having said that, I believe it makes no apparent reason for checking for cameras / video camcorders at the events/temples, etc?
