I noticed a lot of websites and blogs talking about newly unveiled Car – named – Tata Nano. There has been talks about having a 4-wheeler manufactured for possibly affordable to a lot of people in India. It has been targeted at 1-lakh Rupees (Rs.100,000) approx about USD2600.
Model looks really nice with 4-seater and a 600cc vehicle – I think an ideal one for city roads provided the traffic doesn’t pose any issues. There have been mixed opinions on various resources as I noticed in the past few days. Pros- being a lot better vehicle compared to motor cycles. On the downside, already having high traffic and taking ever to commute 10kms will potentially become worse having more 4-wheelers. However, I liked the model. I will probably try a test drive next time when I go visit Bangalore.
