Information buying for Risk management…
I was at a gathering (information technology teams) recently where I heard a quote “a way of Risk management would be through Information buying”. A little puzzled me, wondered what that was and we were told it is about testing. I didn’t quite get into my mind at the moment. So just noted it down, and made a search to learn more about what it really meant.
One of the search items pointed me to testingEducation site and a pdf presentation by Cem Kaner. It is a great prelim document that helps understand what exploratory testing is about and how it helps gathering the information and data we need; there is also a comparison between the traditional scripted tests and the exploratory approach.
