Secured code resources on MSDN site

Filed under: Tech — ramsblog @ 4:52 am

MSDN Library has always been my favorite for technical resources ever since I started programing in GUI environment on microsoft technologies. I was just browsing around the MSDN site lately for software security related areas. I found this tool named Application Threat Modeling and have just downloaded. I haven't installed it yet, but watched a Tutorial that is posted on the site. It seems to be pretty robust and easy analysis. I am going to install it and try some to learn more….

Some areas that caught my eye are…

  • Attach Library availability
  • Reports
  • diagrams
  • Threat modeling with Data, Components and User Roles

Also, on MSDN Site exists Writing Secure Code section where it has discussed plenty of key points. Well, of course, Threat Modeling is part of this Writing Secured Code section.
