Upon the response on my previous Sanskrit – संस्कृतम् blog post, I came across Samskrita-Bharati website and noticed a learning camp being organized in
Bangalore. If you are in
Bangalore and are interested in learning Sanskrit language, you may want to take a look at it.

  5. i have planned to name my girl child as ‘SHRAGVI’.i was told that it means tulsi ,is it correct?if not pls let me know some sanskrit names starting from ‘sh’

    A friend of mine told me that Sanskrit Bharati used to hold two week courses, where people used to live in the campus and communicate day to day activities in sanskrit.
    Do you know if such courses are still available?

    • yes, i have seen one such learn/teach week organized in our region about a year ago. i don’t know how frequent it is, you might want to check samskrita-bharti website
