Get used to change… otherwise you will be forced to!

During my tenure in IT (information technology) industry, I have heard quite a few people being skeptic about computers, banking transactions on internet, and so on. Gone (mostly) are those days when we used to go to the bank every often to get the pass books updated; Rush to the bank on sundays just before they close (work hours used to be 9am-11am) leaving our cartoon shows at the same time; go to the Train station / Bus interchange to buy the tickets for long travels.

When i opened my checking accounts few years ago, there few options in terms of transaction fees – $4 per month if I use any on-counter deposits/withdrawals – no fees for internet or ATM transactions for deposits and withdrawals.

Just noticed another banking institution site for banks in India:
Rs. 50
Free through Internet Banking
25% of branch charge through Phone Banking

so what would those people who prefer to go inperson for banking transactions? they better used to change or pay fees for each transaction.  (note: agreed some may think depending on frequency of these paid services they pay it might be worth than paying the ISP)
